I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg, where I have been since 2022. My dissertation focuses on the influence of education on political attitudes, situated at the intersection of political sociology and political economy.

I investigate this topic through processes occurring both during the time spent in education and in the transition to the labor market. A second research interest concerns how voters act and express themselves politically based on their social environment, and in particular how voters in context respond to and are shaped by the political attitudes around them.

I work primarily with quantitative methods, including large-scale administrative data. I also teach on the course Institutions and Actors in Democracies and supervise theses at bachelor and master level. Students interested in supervision are welcome to reach out.
